Pytałem CSerów o pomoc w znalezieniu tanich noclegów

Hi michael,
I'll surely be happy to help u. Kindly let me know for how many days u could be here. And also let me know if u wish to be in the vicinity of Dalai Lama. Because dharamsala has several suburbs spread on the mountains. Dalai lama's place is mcleodganj - 9 kms from d'sala. I'll stay in touch and suggest u the room in the range of 200-300 indian rupees, which is equal to euro 4-5 a day per person. If u want to just chill out in one of the town nearby, we can get homestay accomodation at cheaper rate too. But mcleodganj is the happening place. I'd try to look for several options for u.

Hi Michael,
There are three geographical parts to McLeodganj - Dharamkot, Bhagsu and McLeodganj. They are around a kilometer away from each other and they offer different attractions for forieners. McLeodganj is where the Dalai Lama's temple is. It is where everyone lands up as they arrive - has the taxis, bus stand, busy, shops, bars etc.
Then there is Bhagsu, a majority of the lonf termers are Israeli and there is a larger percentage of the Ganja lovers. The restaurans here are more Mediterranean food, cheaper to stay here in small tucked away rooms.
Dharamkot is the highest in altitude and is a little more isolated than McLeodganj and Bhagsu. Here there are a mostly long termers and a lot of Israelis.
Our friend owns a hotel in McLeodganj and its location is awesome. It costs 500 per room (2 people) OR 250 per head.

So it is not expensive. You can contact them and book the rooms and you can take my reference. The other two places you can explore yourself and see if you want to shift.

if uer lokking for cheap places to stay..try find room in upper bhagsu or upper dharamkot...u can find rooms as cheap as 100 rupess per person...u have to do little bargaining too..

yo yo yo Michael! there are tons of guesthouses in the area. the price seems to be 300 rupees per night. the place I stay in McLeod Ganj is called Rainbow house. the owners are nice and its only 250 with a kitchen
also you can check out two towns very close by called dharmkot and bhagsu to stay in a slightly more peaceful area with less cars...but also less going on and no tibetan culture

well in july there is a peak season of the tourists over here and right now i didnt remember the name of the hotels but very soon i figure out and send you a message. dont worry.....

There won't be many cheap places in Dharmasala but if you don't mind, there are many placese in Dharmakot and upper Bagsu where most tourist tend to stay. I am right now travelling but will be in Dharmasala in July. I will look for a few places once I get there. If you like please email me again and I give you more precise answers...

8. Bhagsu is the cheapest area, further round the mountain from Mcleod Ganj. The hillside is literally littered with guest houses.

i stay in bhacso at the moment....it is a very nice place.come and relax.
above dharamsala there is a place named mecload ganj and above mecload there are two small viliges cald bhacso or daramkot in those 3 places you can find lots of guesthouses and resturants......no worries all is easy here......

Nice to hear from you and i would love to help if i can do some.
About the guest houses. there are so many place where you can stay, but the price keep changing accordiing to time of the year and according to amount of tourist coming to here.
since i am not in guest house business so i can't tell what will be the price.
but if find that rates are going low in july then i can tell you where u should go.
Where i stay in this area there are many place, you can take a look in those rooms and decide, if they are in your budget or not.

11. Hello Michael;
Well, the cheapest place I know in town is Yeti Trekking. I lived there for 4 years off and on. You may call Rama at 9418067326. Their rooms were 120 pernight but they are small, might not work for a big group.
but it may be a start. book ahead, they are usually full.(being such lovely people and a nice but not fancy place)

they have rooms from about 12 euros downwards, and a dormitory with 7 beds for about 1,5 euro per person
book in advance, they are quite popular

14. Hi Michael!
Sorry for the late reply. Dharamshala is my hometown - my birthplace and I have spent my whole childhood there, so of course I can help you! I know the place like the back of my hand.
If you are looking for down-to-earth prices and good views, I recommend Dharamkot village, its a hamlet 4 kms off-route from Mcleodganj. Plenty of rooms, nice peaceful location, excellent views, rooms starting anywhere from 300 INR. Don't expect anything luxurious though - but still clean and decent. But July is the season of monsoons, so keep in mind the rain. It can play a spoil-sport.
For any more queries (which am sure you would have!), just feel free to ask! I'd be more than happy to help you. In any case, let me know whenever you pass through New Delhi coz thats where I am based right now. It'd be great to meet you folks!

Co do noclegów , które można zarezerwować przez neta to w Dharamsali jest bieda. Na hostelworld te najtańsze nie są położone w Dharamsali tylko w pobliskich wioskach.

cena 31 zł za noc tylko w tej cenie są dostępne pokoje dla 4 osób
Na innych stronach rezerwacyjnych znalazłem takie 2 propozycje
ceny po +- 30zł

Wysłałem prośbę o ogarnięcie noclegu przez tę "informację turystyczną"
Na ich stronce jest full hoteli , których nie ma w necie .
Sami proponują taką opcją więc czekam na odpowiedź.

Git dobry pomysł, ja bym dalej rozważał czy akurat w Dharamsali nie odwalić opcji burżuja, odchodzi nam nocleg mam nadzieje w amritsarze (cs albo zlota swiatynia) i jak dobrze pojdzie w new delhi przy powrocie

Obczaiłem ceny hoteli w dalszych etapach naszej podróży od Jodphuru Jaipuru po Jaisalamer Agrę Varanasi Rishikesh wahają się między 7-15 zł za łóżko w 2 osobowym pokoju.
